Why the fascination? I can only speak for myself. This era has to be one of my all time favorites. The men dressed like men and the women dressed like ladies. The men looked so put together in their crisp suit and ties, while the women donned wonderful, artistic brooches and beautiful choker necklaces. Men used to give as gifts to their special ladies, gorgeous silk scarves, which they wore as headscarves, neck scarves as well as tying them onto their classic handbags. The suits on men made them look commanding. Some of the highlights of menswear included flattering skinny ties, cufflinks and clean line tie bars completing their look.

The fun part of fashion is having the creative freedom to mimic the look that defines your style and personality as well as picking bits and pieces to create a new slant on the things you love.
